By Jared "JJF" Jackson-Ferrans Every so often, there comes a talent with the ring ability and x factor to be a high level star, that the WWE just doesn't use correctly. These are the analysations of those talents. welcome to Missed Connections. Sometimes, everything comes together, and you get a once in a lifetime wrestler that fits the total package: Look, Charisma, Workrate, Ring Skills and Mic Skills. More often than not, these wrestlers become disappointments. The Rock was, without a doubt, one of these, and left for several years in his prime, leaving the company with a lack of star power. Randy Orton was as well, and fell into a pattern of self destruction and personal issues that led to him losing his luster. Eddie Guerrero falls into this category, and well, we know what hapenned there. Misuse is rarely a problem, however this case is quite different. Let's look at the file.

By Thomas Brunt When it was clear John Cena's WrestleMania status was in question, plans called for some change, since he wouldn't be able to wrestle the rumored match with the Undertaker on the grandest stage of them all. The lack of super stardom and enthusiasm for an anticipated headliner constrained Vince McMahon to realize totally new possibilities, to think outside the box. Shane McMahon's return to WWE, even if only for WrestleMania certainly adds some interest back to the event. It should be expressed however, just a restricted measure of interest in light of the fact that the streak is no more alive. By RJ Marceau It has been announced that Becky Lynch will face Sasha Banks on Raw to be the #1 contender for the Divas Championship at WrestleMania. The WWE has a unique opportunity to propel this division to another level by having Sasha Banks face Becky Lynch in the main event slot of Monday Night Raw. The other main matches for WrestleMania have a part timer so it’s not like a showdown or confrontation between the opponents wouldn’t be feasible or necessary. By Graham "GSM" Matthews Summer Rae def. Alicia Fox When was the last time anyone cut a promo on Superstars before their match? Summer running down Fox on the mic was a refreshing change of pace and what she said was actually somewhat truthful. Okay, so maybe not the part about Summer bringing change to the Divas division, but definitely the part about about the "Divas Revolution" and the massive flop that it was. The match wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but it's great to see Summer back in the ring after all this time. I have referred to her as damaged goods in the past based off how she has been booked in recent years, but there is hope for her yet as a wrestler. Stardust def. Zack Ryder These two have had no less than a dozen matches in recent memory and I'm desperately waiting for something new. At the very least, they work extremely well together and their matches are always enjoyable. This "feud" would mean more if the commentators acknowledged how they have been trading wins, but since that was never brought up, this felt like just another outing. If WWE plans on doing Stardust vs. Stephen Amell at WrestleMania, they are going to have to start building Stardust up now, otherwise no one will care. |
