Graham "GSM" Matthews

Picture
Graham "GSM" Matthews
My name is Graham Mirmina (pen name is Graham Matthews), and I've been writing reviews, news, and opinion articles on pro wrestling since May 2009. I started out writing review blogs on WWE Universe, before stopping altogether at the end of 2009. I brought my reviews to Bleacher Report in May 2010, before sending my work to Ring-Rap, Enigmatic Generation of Wrestling, Marking Out With Words, as well as my own site Next Era Wrestling.

I'm currently a high school student and have been a wrestling fan since April 2008. I am very knowledgeable of the WWE product and wish to someday work for the business. In addition, I have been training in MMA and currently hold a green belt status.

I have traveled the world from Europe to Austrailia, to Jamacia, and most north-eastern states. Along with WWE, I also have been watching TNA ever since August 2008. Since then, I have attended one Smackdown-ECW TV taping in November 2009, a live Monday Night Raw show in December 2009, and WWE Fan Appreciation Day in October 2010. In addition, I attend indy wrestling "Northeast Wrestling" once or twice a year. I have created my own pro-wrestling "fantasy" organization, and love to read, write, and learn everything wrestling.

My name is Donald Wood and I am a writer from Philadelphia. I embrace all things Philly but I am a National fan with a bit of bias. I am a hockey specialist but I can cover any sport with a vast knowledge.

I created my own website as a place to hone my skill while I worked my way through college. Now that I have graduated, I am working with the TNT Department of Bleacher Report as well as the News of Delaware County Newspaper outside Philadelphia.

I have been a fan of wrestling for almost as far back as I can remember. Whether it was popping in my old WWF VHS tapes or elbow dropping my Ultimate Warrior wrestling buddy (Warrior > Hogan) from my bed, I've always had a strong connection.

I didn't start following professional wrestling very extensively until 2004 or 2005. Up until that point, I didn't have cable or satelite TV, so watching professional wrestling was pretty hard to do. Since that time I have been in love. I've witnessed the rise of superstars like John Cena and Batista, I've been around for the tragic passings of several superstars including Eddie Guererro, Chris Benoit, Test, and Umaga. I've seen some amazing storylines, and some stinkers to boot. And I hope to see professional wrestling evolve into something we've yet to encounter.

I've also seen several live shows in the past few years that have further solidified my love. Those include Summerslam 2006 where I watched Mick Foley and Ric Flair beet the hell out of each other in an "I Quit" match, Raw's 900th episode, the 2011 Royal Rumble, TNA Live at the Mullins Center at UMass where I met many of the superstars and realized how grateful they actually are to all of the fans, and a live Chikara event where I saw some of the most technical wrestling as well as the love for the sport that those athletes put in each and every day.

I love wrestling, not just because of the entertainment that it provides, but because of the analysis and ideas that we as outsiders to the business generate as we try to predict what happens next. I one day hope to be on the inside looking outward, generating the ideas that have stirred in my head for years into something that millions can enjoy.

I am a Featured Columnist on BR, and random sites all over the internet have been featuring my quotes and comments for a couple of years now, including WWE.com and other news sites.

A little history on The Doctor, Chris Mueller
I am from the Chicago area and have lived here my whole life.
I am a second degree black belt in kyuki-do (a mix of Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Ju Jitsu and Hapkido). I taught at a school in my hometown for 10 of the 13 years I studied Martial Arts.
I love the Cubs but choose not to write about baseball, as I don't pay attention to any other teams' players and stats.
I have no kids and don't plan on having any anytime soon.
I have organized three Susan G Komen "Walk for the Cure" charity events and it was a blast.
I love to read, some of the books I have been reading are:
Double Dexter along with the whole series before it
All the Sookie Stackhouse books
Anything by Elmore Leonard (The world's greatest crime fiction writer)
Douglas Adams works
Books that have interesting facts and stats like The Big Book of Useless Information.
Mark Twain's "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court," is my all-time favorite book.

I love television. Thank God for the DVR, with my 50 hour+ work weeks I would never see anything I like. Some of the shows I like are: 30 Rock, The Office (both versions), Parks and Recreation, Community, White Collar, Dexter, Weeds, The League, Always Sunny, Psych, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lie to Me, Chuck, Bones, House, Heroes, The Prisoner, Breaking Bad, Californication, South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, American Dad, Archer, Futurama, The Soup, Franklin and Bash, Torchwood, Doctor Who, Raising Hope, Frasier, Cheers, Seinfeld and Tosh.0. This is just the ones I could think of, I'm sure there's more.

Giulio Romano

Giulio Romano
Like Molson...I am Canadian!

Giulio has been a pro-wrestling fan for over 25 years and a college graduate in Physical Education. He works as a personal trainer and devotes the rest of his time in reading, writing and commenting on the various happenings of the WWE and its Universe.

They call him "the Phoenix" because of his passion for life and joy of living. Not even Cancer could stop this force of nature! though it came close, it failed! Miserably! and delivered unto him the renewed fire and vigor to top any challenge.

An ultimate dream? To work for WWE in some way, shape or form but at 34 (in 2011) he's got to get a move on things so furthering his education and writing the best articles he can will be the key.

Winner of the CvC 2.0; a contest that was held to crown the best writer of Pro Wrestling section for year 2011/12, and a proud former featured columnist (Tenure 14.02.2011 - 04.10.2011)

.................

Readers on this site have given me unparalleled love, and I cannot thank you enough for that. I appreciate the fact that you take some minutes of your day to read my little work.

I am a part of Team Klique and Faction, two awesome groups of BR writers. Thanks to the support and camaraderie of guys like RiZE, Jamal Parker, Double A., Buzz, Hellbilly, Ryan, Ham,Joe, Ashley Morris, Jacob, William, Jon Fisher, Kevin Berge, John Cobbcorn, Dan Power and Iam D Real Deal Yo, this has been one fantastic experience.

There are some readers, without whose support it would have been a poorer journey. I want to thank Mariah, Rebekah, Wade, Sharmin, Arpith and many such people who have truly motivated me and compelled me to give it my best shot every time i write.

And the last but no the least, the man who made me - Mike aka The Professor.

....................

Anyway, In case any new writer or a person aspiring to write feels that I can help him or her, all you need to do is dropping me a PM. I would prefer PM because, messages on bulletin board either get buried or vanish altogether. I will be happy to be of any assistance.

I'm a WWE fan for more than 20 years so you can expect me to talk about... WWE.

I am an Undertaker mark and my favorite time as a wrestling fan was between 1987 and 1999. If I feel nostalgia when I think about "the good old days", I am still a big WWE fan.

I have written my first article here on March 19, 2010 and I enjoy to build slideshows. One of my passions is to dig on the web to find the best pictures and to make collages.

I write on B/R to share my passion for the WWE and I am working hard to improve myself. English is not my first language so forgive me if my writing style is not always very polished.

* Thanks a lot to all the readers who made me reach the mark of 100,000 reads on June 8, 2010.

* Reached the mark of 200,000 reads on July 30, 2010. Thanx to all of you.

* Another milestone with the mark of 500,000 reached on January 17, 2011. Thank you all for your support. I never thought I'd make it to half of a million reads one day. Thanx again.

Other than that, I am also known as WarAutopsy all over the web and one of my passion outside WWE is Axis & Allies. If you're curious, there's an online club you can find there:http://axisandalliesworldclub.net/Default.asp

I'm a metalhead and a classical music lover. I like any kind of metal, from Death to Hair metal. My favorite classical composers are the epic Dmitry Chostakovich, the mighty Ludvig Van Beethoven, the great Antonio Vivaldi and and the unique G.F. Telemann. My favorite band is Rhapsody Of Fire, a majestuous mix of power metal and classical music.

I'm also a movie freak and, if I only had one movie to bring on a desert island, it would be A Clockwork Orange...!
